is a New York-based and Los Angeles-born performer, playwright, and screenwriter. When Lena was little, her mother frequently overheard her talking to herself in her bathroom mirror. She still talks to herself, but it’s okay because it’s her career now.

Cast Breakdown: 4F, 2M, 1M/F/NB
On the side of Highway 101 in Northern California, six travelers find themselves trapped at a rest stop. As they fight to escape, the travelers are forced to traverse grief, investigate fate, and confront the consequences of healing in Lena Moore’s new surrealist drama Rest Stop.
Rest Stop was performed at Northwestern University on March 14th and 15th 2025.
“Stuck somewhere with people they love, “Rest Stop’s” cast of characters are left to face the big questions about life: grief, forgiveness and who they choose to love. Watching these lovable characters seek the answers is a joy as the show shifts so easily from unsettling to heartbreaking to laugh-out-loud funny.”
